Albert Celades finds breathing space after Cádiz draw at Tenerife

Albert Celades has earned a bit of breathing room thanks to Cádiz’ 1-1 draw at Tenerife, a result that backs up the improved feel shown previously against Girona. The yellow-and-black side still haven’t won in seven matchdays and sit on just four points, but their recent response has, for now, cooled the heat on the coach.

Per MARCA, Celades’ job had been seriously questioned following the game against Las Palmas, not only because of the lack of points but because the team weren’t showing growth. His reply came by adjusting the approach: less risk, a more balanced structure, and more use of a squad heavily refreshed over the summer.
