Arnaud Bodart leaves Lille and joins Le Havre

Goalkeeper Arnaud Bodart (28) has made the move away from Lille. As reported by L'Équipe, the Belgian arrives at Le Havre as an emergency “joker” option and does so with his situation at the LOSC already settled: the keeper still had 10 months on his contract, which is set to be ended so he can join the new project.

The timing is linked to the urgent need created by Lionel Mpasi’s Achilles tendon injury in the match last Saturday vs Brest (1-2), as the same outlet details.

Medical check first

Bodart arrived at Lille in July 2025 and later became the third-choice goalkeeper behind Berke Özer and the arrival Orlando Gill. Now, before signing, he is expected to complete his medical check in the afternoon with the Le Havre staff.

For Le Havre, this provides an immediate solution between the posts while the team absorbs Mpasi’s absence. The remaining piece is the final confirmation of the contract terms, but the direction of the deal is clear: permanent exit from Lille and arrival at Le Havre following the setback in Brest.
