Arnu and Valladolid: contract renewal offer ahead of 1 January

Real Valladolid has tabled a contract renewal offer for Adrián Arnu to prevent him from negotiating with other clubs from 1 January, after the striker scored in the match against Córdoba. As reported by MARCA, the player has had the proposal for roughly a month and his current deal ends on 30 June.

Arnu joined the first team two years ago and, due to a lack of minutes, was loaned to Real Madrid C in the January window. Back at Valladolid, he became a starter and delivered against Córdoba at the José Zorrilla: he netted the equaliser in the first half and also set up the 2-1 goal in the second.

The club wants to move early to avoid another “Chuki case”, with the goal of extending his contract by at least two seasons.
