Athletic sets a record with 192.9m revenue in 2025/26

Athletic Club has wrapped up the 2025/26 season with the best revenue figures in its history: €192.9m, up €20.4m from the previous year. The club also reports a €20.6m net profit, with EBITDA reaching €38.1m—double the prior campaign.

As MARCA notes, Champions participation was a major driver. Competition income rose 19% to €59.7m, and broadcasting rights contributed €81.9m. Advertising and sponsorship climbed 23% to €12m, putting total sports revenues at €153.6m.

For 2026/27, Athletic’s budget is set at €152.6m, shaped by the absence of European competition and last season’s 12th place in LaLiga. The club expects competition and broadcasting revenue to drop by €50.7m, projects €15.3m from transfers and loans, and—after €17.1m in provisions—targets a “zero result”. The accounts and budget will be reviewed at the General Assembly on October 28.
