Atlético vs Deportivo: confirmed kick-off time for matchday 10

Deportivo will travel to the Atlético de Madrid at the Metropolitano for LaLiga EA Sports matchday 10, with the schedule published by the league, as Sport reports.

The game comes after the international break and follows two league fixtures for the Galician side. First, they face Real Sociedad on 11 October at 16:15, and then they take on Levante on Friday 16 October at 21:00.

The clash on 24 October

Eight days after their Riazor showdown against a direct rival, Deportivo will play Atlético on Saturday 24 October at 21:00. The match will be broadcast on Movistar+ LaLiga, according to Sport.

The historical backdrop adds extra spice: Deportivo have not beaten Atlético in official competition since 2009, and the last win at Riazor came with goals from Colotto and Andrés Guardado. It will also be only the second trip by Deportivo to the Metropolitano, after almost a decade away from the top flight.

In the standings, Deportivo go into the break in seventh place with 10 points (two wins, four draws, and one loss). Atlético are second with 16 points, five behind FC Barcelona and one ahead of Real Madrid, with Real Betis also on 16.
