Brest–PSG live: Ligue 1 finale of matchday 4

So far, they have recorded two draws and one defeat: Rennes (2-2) and Lille (2-2), plus a loss to Monaco (2-1) after missing out on the Trophée des champions against Lens (1-0). The Wednesday Champions League rout over Slovan Bratislava (6-1) is the latest confidence boost before this national test.

This is the first time this season PSG face an opponent like Brest, who arrive with five points and an unbeaten run. The question, as RMC Sport frames it, is whether the high level shown in Europe can be repeated in Ligue 1.

Missing players for PSG

There is also a squad update for the visitors: Senny Mayulu and Illya Zabarnyi are absent from PSG’s group, along with Quentin Ndjantou, according to RMC Sport.
