Casadó faces tests after being taken off with shoulder concern

Marc Casadó set off alarm bells in a Deportivo match when, just after the half-hour mark of the first half, he asked to be substituted with visible signs of pain. As MARCA details, the message “se me ha roto” was seen/read on the pitch after he fell on his right shoulder during a challenge for the ball with Marc Roca.

According to MARCA, he immediately indicated discomfort in the collarbone and the right shoulder, prompting an early change. Diego Villares came on, and later—towards the end—proved decisive by scoring the equaliser.

Bad signs after the injury

After the game, Antonio Hidalgo’s comments underlined the worry. “Tiene mala pinta, mala pinta la verdad, tienen que hacerle pruebas y veremos el alcance de la lesión pero insisto que no tiene buena pinta”, he said, as reported by MARCA.

Casadó had been returning to the starting XI for Deportivo after the rotations used in the previous league match. Now, his future availability becomes uncertain.

Awaiting medical tests

MARCA adds that there is not yet a medical report and the exact extent of the problem isn’t known. Tests will be the next step to determine the specific injury and how long he could be out.
