Celta set for Balaídos sell-out: only 10 tickets left for Juventus in Europa League

Celta Vigo are gearing up for their first full house of the season at Balaídos. With two weeks to go until they host Juventus Turin in the Europa League, the club says only around ten tickets are still on sale, with Claudio Giráldez’s side set to play in front of packed stands.

So far, the best attendance of the campaign came in the league match against Athletic Club, when 20,902 fans showed up. Until the Gol stand renovation is completed, Balaídos currently holds 23,432 seats.

The remaining inventory ranges from 180 euros for the cheapest tickets in Tribuna Alta and Tribuna Baja to 295 euros in the Player Club, which includes access to the VIP area and catering.

The game against Juventus also carries extra weight for Celta supporters because of the 4-0 they recorded over the Italians in March 2000, during the return leg of the UEFA Cup round of 16, a match remembered for the roster led by Carlo Ancelotti. Mundo Deportivo reports that Balaídos is expected to set the tone for the European opener.
