Dani Ceballos trains in the gym as Betis return to work
Dani Ceballos missed the pitch in Betis’ comeback session and joined multiple absences ahead of a 11 October visit vs Osasuna.
Dani Ceballos of Real Betis was not on the pitch when the squad returned to training after the weekend break granted by Manuel Pellegrini, working instead in the gym at the Luis del Sol training ground.
The Utrera midfielder joins a group of absentees that also includes the injured Aitor Ruibal, still progressing in his recovery, and Marc Bartra, who follows an individualized plan due to the discomfort he picked up in the last league match against Deportivo de la Coruña.
Several players are also away on international duty: Manu González (U21), Morante (U20), Valentín Gómez (Argentina), Junior (Dominican Republic), Facundo Bernal (Uruguay), Álvaro Fidalgo (Mexico), Abde (Morocco) and Troy Parrott (Ireland).
Betis return to league action on Sunday 11 October, hosting Osasuna, before a run of four straight games at La Cartuja: Porto (14), Barcelona (17) and Feyenoord (21).
