Eibar goes top after beating Las Palmas 3-2 and extending win streak to six

Eibar moved into the league lead after beating Las Palmas 3-2 at Ipurua, powered by their sixth consecutive win, a record they had never previously reached. The hosts took control early with goals from Mada (6') and Álvaro Rodríguez (9'). Las Palmas replied through Pezzolesi (24'), but Martón restored the cushion (62'). Jefte made it 3-2 with a finish in the 85th minute, and the late twist came with Iñaki’s sending off after receiving a second yellow.

The match started heavily in Eibar’s favor: after another assist from Adu Ares, Mada scored, and just minutes later Álvaro Rodríguez doubled the lead. Before half-time, Pezzolesi pulled one back with a finish set up by Iván Jaime’s passing.

In the second half, Martón effectively put the game away after being found at the edge of goal by Guruzeta. Still, Jefte kept Las Palmas alive at 85', but the late stages belonged to the referee: Iñaki was expelled after two yellow cards.
