Barça name their first Champions League List B

FC Barcelona have already set up their first Champions League List B for this season. As Mundo Deportivo reports, the Blaugrana begin their campaign on Wednesday against Feyenoord and have published the youth list of players who could be used for the match, provided they meet the eligibility requirements.

Clear academy eligibility rules

Under the List B format, only players born after January 1, 2004 can be registered, and they must have been in the club’s academy for two uninterrupted years. Mundo Deportivo also states that there is an alternative route: three consecutive years can be counted if the player was on a loan to a club from the same federation for a maximum of one year.

As the report notes, List B is not fixed: it can be updated 24 hours before each Champions League game. The article adds that other academy players could be added for later matches—for example Ebrima Tunkara, who is currently sidelined with an injury to his left ankle.
