The update lands alongside the preparation of manager Gio van Bronckhorst ahead of European football. First comes domestic action: Feyenoord travel to NEC Nijmegen on the same day (16:30) for matchday five of the Eredivisie. In that setting, the coach addressed the forward’s situation after speaking in the press conference ahead of those fixtures.

I spoke with him, but I didn’t see a player who was hitting the table with his fist and wanted to leave at all costs,” said the coach, while stressing that outcomes depend on what comes next: “of course, we have to wait and see.” He added that if Hadj Moussa leaves, it will be because the club has its reasons—and potentially because an offer arrives that they cannot refuse.
