Ethan Mbappé leaves France U21 match after a knock to the ankle

Lille winger Ethan Mbappé had to be substituted in the 12th minute of France Espoirs (U21) against Estonia on Tuesday after taking a knock to his ankle.

As L’Équipe reports, the incident happened as he tried to cross/cut back into the box. The injury prevented him from continuing, so the club and staff will now monitor his recovery from the ankle problem.
