Ferrari calls for match to be halted if homophobic chants happen in OM-PSG

Sports minister Marina Ferrari has reiterated the need to follow the match-stop protocol if homophobic chants are heard from the stands. L’Équipe reports this after she sent a letter to the president of the Ligue de football professionnel (LFP) at the start of September.

In that message, Ferrari stressed that the match must be stopped when such chants occur in the stadium. L’Équipe adds that this will be applied in particular in the OM-PSG fixture, scheduled for Sunday evening.
