Getafe in talks to loan Iván Azón from Como 1907

Getafe are pushing hard in the final stretch of the window and, according to Sport, are in talks with Como 1907 over Iván Azón’s loan. The idea, if it gets over the line, would also bring Francho Serrano back into the mix—someone Azón has history with at Real Zaragoza after both broke into the first team in 20-21.

Talks with the clock ticking

As Sport explains, the negotiations are happening with the market due to close this Tuesday at 23:59. Azón wouldn’t be limited to this option either: Sport adds that the striker has offers from France, Italy and the Championship, though the English second tier is described as the least preferred destination for him.

Why Getafe want him

Sport recalls that Azón joined Como in January 2025, then spent last season on loan at Ipswich Town. There he played 38 matches, scored 5, and the club earned promotion to the Premier League. The report also says Como are looking for the player to get regular minutes via another loan.

Before his move, Azón built his record at Zaragoza: Sport highlights 150 games across Segunda División and the Copa del Rey with 27 goals, before transferring to Como for €2 million plus add-ons in February 2025. If the loan is confirmed, Getafe would land a striker with an immediate-impact profile and reunite him with a Zaragoza teammate in a squad that will benefit from more attacking minutes.
