According to RMC Sport, Achraf Hakimi started on Sunday night vs Brest in Ligue 1 but was forced to leave the pitch in the first half with an injury to the adductor. The Moroccan full-back complained of the issue and was substituted just before the break, at 39 minutes.

RMC Sport reports that Fabián Ruiz took his spot, while Warren Zaïre-Emery moved into the wide role.

The key question now for PSG is how long Hakimi will be sidelined. RMC Sport says the club is waiting to understand the extent of the problem.

The outlet notes that, over the last two seasons, Hakimi has played heavily for club and country, between last year’s Club World Cup, the most recent AFCON in Morocco, and this summer’s World Cup in America. In 2024-2025 he appeared in 55 matches for PSG across all competitions, and in the following season he played 32.
