Javier González Calvo ordered to pay €524,465.63 to Córdoba

Former Córdoba SAD chief executive Javier González Calvo has been ordered to pay €524,465.63 to the club, following Sentencing No. 105/2026 issued by Madrid’s Mercantile Court section on September 22, 2026.

Sport reports that judge Moisés Guillamón Ruiz partially upheld Córdoba’s lawsuit, finding breaches during González Calvo’s tenure as CEO from December 2019 to May 2023. The ruling breaks down multiple items: €126,270.04 for negligence and concealment related to the signing of Ferney Mosquera (FIFA), €136,933.32 for exceeding powers when dismissing Germán Crespo’s staff, and €27,121.33 for unjustified personal and contractual charges.

It also includes €234,140.94 tied to the Pro-fit artificial turf project dispute at the Ciudad Deportiva, after the court concluded that he signed contracts without the specific powers required. One claim block concerning Algeciras CF services was dismissed for lack of proof of a conflict of interest or direct financial harm. The decision is not final and can be appealed within 20 days.
