Jesús Velasco includes four Barça players in Spain-Finland pre-squad
Spain vs Finland is on 20 October (20:30) at Manzanares Arena, with the final list out on 5 October.
Jesús Velasco, Spain head coach and former Barça boss, released this Monday a 30-man pre-squad for Spain vs Finland on 20 October (20:30) at Manzanares Arena. It will be Spain’s first official match after their European title, in a World Cup 2028 qualifying group that also includes North Macedonia, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Four Barça players are named in the pre-squad:
- Dídac Plana (goalkeeper)
- Antonio (closer)
- Eric Martel (wing)
- Adolfo (wing-pivot)
The final squad will be published on 5 October. Spain’s camp starts on 11 October, and the team travels the next day to Alcázar de San Juan to stay there until the match.
Barça will also have three players with Brazil for the Nations Cup from 12 to 18 October. Brazil face Japan, Peru, Afghanistan, Indonesia and Cape Verde in São José dos Pinhais (Paraná). Joao Victor and Pito are joined by Matheus, who picked up an injury on Friday and could miss the tournament.
