Joao Félix: ‘Never would I go to Real Madrid’ — Barça dream

Joao Félix, the Al-Nassr midfielder, said in an interview with AS that his Barcelona past still defines him—and he ruled out the Real Madrid path. At 26, the Portuguese points to the FC Barcelona years as a lifelong dream and says he was proud to have worn the shirt.

He acknowledges that Barcelona didn’t lift trophies during his spell, but insists that “playing for Barcelona” was enough to make him very happy, while also noting how different it felt being a loanee versus being under contract with the club.

Asked about a hypothetical move to Real Madrid, he answered bluntly: “I’d have been the biggest football traitor.” He adds that he missed the Madrid option, yet remains proud of having played for Barça, as Mundo Deportivo reports.
