Málaga and Córdoba train together this Thursday at Fundación MCF

Málaga, coached by Juanfran Funes, will train together this Thursday with Córdoba during the international break. The session takes place at the Ciudad Deportiva Fundación MCF and follows a similar blueprint to the one used last week versus Antequera: it will not be a standard friendly, there will be no official referee or match kits, but there will be football. The joint session will end with a 60-minute game between both teams.

The blanquiazul side returned to training on Monday after two days off at the La Rosaleda annex, with rain and ongoing reseeding of the pitch ahead of winter. Adam Aznou was the standout: the full-back worked with the group again and is pushing through the final stage of his recovery, aiming to be available before the end of the week for Málaga’s trip to Espanyol on October 9.

Juan Cruz remains out with the muscular overload picked up against Getafe, and Cajuste is still building up from his muscle injury. Einar Galilea did part of the session after managing his physical loads, while Rafita is away with Spain Under-21.
