Málaga return to training Monday afternoon after Friday session

Málaga CF will return to training next Monday afternoon after wrapping up the week with a Friday morning session at La Rosaleda’s annex. As reported by Sport, Juanfran Funes didn’t give the group a break at the start of the international break, but after training daily so far, the blanquiazul side will have the weekend off and about 72 hours without matches.

The post-break schedule includes two consecutive home games: first against Espanyol on Friday, October 9 (21:00) and then versus Real Sociedad on Sunday, October 18 (18:30). The Friday workout at Martiricos (10:30) focused on technical-tactical work, with the ball as the main feature.

There were seven absences: Juan Cruz, Einar Galilea, Diego Murillo, Jens Cajuste, Adam Aznou, Aaron Ochoa and Julen Lobete. The first two have no injury and were kept out for load management reasons.
