Manchester City facing legal action plans from several Premier League clubs
Clubs could seek compensation for missed Champions League, league position bonuses and sponsorship bonuses.
Several Premier League clubs are considering legal action against Manchester City, as reported by The Athletic. The clubs’ aim would be to claim compensation for financial losses they say they suffered.
The move comes after Man City was found guilty of 114 breaches. The potential claims would include:
- money allegedly lost from missing out on Champions League qualification
- revenue denied from league position bonuses
- sponsorship bonuses the clubs say they never received
