Martin Ødegaard and Bernardo Silva clash over a late challenge in Oslo (2-1)

Martin Ødegaard, Arsenal was furious after taking a late ankle kick from Bernardo Silva, Real Madrid during stoppage time in Oslo, as Portugal beat Norway 2-1.

The incident was judged with just a yellow card, and cameras caught Ødegaard repeatedly shouting an English insult at his rival. After the final whistle he left the field limping, more than an hour later, and told TV2: "This has no place on a football pitch".

As Mundo Deportivo reports, Ødegaard had played the ball forward with his left foot from his own half when Silva went in from behind. Silva’s right foot arrived too late and struck the back of Ødegaard’s left foot. Asked by Norwegian media, Silva first replied: "What challenge?" and then added: "It’s football, friend".
