Militao pushes to return as he starts running and training with the ball
As Mundo Deportivo reports, Éder Militão trains daily at the Real Madrid facilities to return as soon as possible after injury.
Real Madrid is making the most of this international break for its injured players. As Mundo Deportivo writes, Éder Militão—along with Ferland Mendy, Rodrygo and Valverde—has been attending daily sessions at the Real Madrid City to work through their recoveries.
Running again
Militao’s progress is already noticeable: according to Mundo Deportivo, he has started to run on the pitch and is also working with the ball. The Brazilian has even shared the details of his routine via his social media, showing that he is pushing hard to be back as soon as possible.
His setback came in April. Mundo Deportivo explains that he suffered the injury during a match against Alavés and was later operated on in Finland. The diagnosis was a rupture of the proximal tendon of the left leg’s biceps femoris.
No rushing timelines
The same report points out that the club’s plan is not to gamble with returns. While there is an intention for certain players to be available in October after the break, Real Madrid and the medical staff want to stick to recovery timelines to reduce the risk of setbacks. That caution matters even more for Militao, who has had multiple serious issues in the same area.
