Mallorca’s injury list grew after their match against Almería, with Manu Morlanes (Mallorca) suffering left-ankle ligament damage and Antoniu Roca (Mallorca) dealing with a hamstring problem in his left leg. The club is not ruling out surgery given the severity, according to MARCA.
Two injury blows
- Morlanes was forced off just before halftime and was taken to the dressing room on a stretcher; his expected return is around six weeks.
- Roca left the pitch in the 32nd minute after feeling a “pinch” in his hamstrings; his comeback will depend on how he responds.
The situation worsened further when Soumahoro was substituted with a knock/overload in the 74th minute. The initial outlook suggests he could still play at Montilivi on Sunday, while Mallorca monitor the rest of the squad.
