Neto Murara joins Juventus as new goalkeeper: deal until June 2027
Juventus make Neto’s signing official on a free transfer, adding depth after Grabara’s long-term ACL injury.
Juventus have made it official: Neto Murara, the Brazilian goalkeeper, has signed with the club on a contract running until June 2027. The Turin side confirmed the move this Monday.
The 37-year-old previously played for Juventus between 2015 and 2017, winning two Serie A titles (Scudetti), two Coppa Italia trophies and one Italian Super Cup. Neto arrives free after terminating his contract with Botafogo. He also spent three seasons at Barcelona, from 2019 to 2022.
The signing is aimed at strengthening the goalkeeping department following the long-term absence of Kamil Grabara, who recently suffered a torn ACL in his right knee. Neto will now look to put pressure on Guglielmo Vicario, the club’s current starter and an Italy international.
