The Premier League has confirmed that Manchester City have been found guilty of all charges over breaches of its financial rules between 2009-10 and 2017-18, as reported by BBC Sport.
The verdict follows an independent Commission, which said that during that period the club arranged “sham contracts” with several commercial partners. It also states City used “sham agreements” to artificially inflate revenues and cut costs.
The league added that City were guilty of most charges relating to a failure to cooperate, though it did not provide an exact figure.
