Raphinha faces Brazil travel of nearly 35,000 km

Raphinha is in excellent form with FC Barcelona, but the international window will quickly test him. As Mundo Deportivo notes, the Brazilian winger will rack up close to 35,000 kilometers to play three matches for Brazil, a long-distance “marathon” that will put his physical endurance under pressure.

Three matches, two countries

According to Mundo Deportivo, the trip begins on September 25 in Townsville, where he will play at the Queensland Country Bank Stadium. Four days later, on September 29, the squad will move to Brisbane for the second game of the tour, at Brisbane Stadium. The international run ends on October 3 in Calcutta, where he will play the third and final match versus India before returning.

Muscle concerns

The same outlet also reminds that Raphinha has previously suffered muscle problems with Brazil: it recalls that both in March and in June he was injured during national-team call-ups.
