Real Zaragoza: 19 yellow cards in five matchdays, up to 2nd

Real Zaragoza tops the yellow-card ranking in Primera RFEF: after five matchdays, they’ve collected 19 yellow cards—level with Águilas—while moving up to second place in Group 2 thanks to four straight wins, as Sport reports.

Their benchmark came at Can Misses, where the side set a new club record for the season with six bookings in a win, with the yellow cards shown by referee Roca Robles. Still, the team isn’t especially “hard”: they average 61.8% possession.

Lucas Terrer, Rubo Iranzo, Pau Sans and Rubén Díez are among the repeat offenders. Others who’ve opened their yellow tally include Barrachina, Escudero, Ander, Sangalli, Diego González, Joaquín Delgado, Tachi, Jaume Jardí, Peter Ademo, Saidu and Diego Monzón. In Ibiza they reached six yellow cards; and although their only early loss came at Nàstic, it happened alongside those earlier bookings. Across these five fixtures, Zaragoza have not received any red card for their players.
