Royal Antwerp agree to sign Arthur Vermeeren on loan
Arthur Vermeeren heads to Royal Antwerp on a loan from RB Leipzig until June, with his medical already completed.
Royal Antwerp have, according to Fabrizio Romano, agreed the signing of Arthur Vermeeren on a loan deal from RB Leipzig. The report also states that the medical is done, clearing one of the key hurdles for the move.
Loan through June
As Romano puts it, it’s a straight loan to take the player to Belgium for the remainder of the season, with the contract running until June.
Vermeeren, described in the update as former Atlético Madrid talent, is therefore set to start a new chapter in Belgium once the administrative steps are finalized.
In practical terms, this gives the Antwerp squad another option for their campaign right after the medical approval. What’s left, based on the information available, is the final wrap-up by the club to make the move fully official.
