Knee problem
The report specifies that it was a knee injury, which means Schalke will have to wait for further medical assessment. The time frame is given as “bis auf Weiteres” (until further notice), with no return date included.
With Ljubicic out, Schalke will need to adjust their midfield options as recovery progress is evaluated.
