Teto Martín strengthens Europa’s attack

Europa have moved to strengthen their attack with the signing of Alberto “Teto” Martín, a 24-year-old forward who arrives on a free transfer after his spell with Johor DT in Malaysia’s league, as reported by Mundo Deportivo.

The Canary Islands winger has experience at a high level: he was developed in Tenerife’s youth system and went on to feature in 97 matches for the first team in Segunda División across three seasons.

Aiming for the next league game

The expectation is that Martín will be available for the next league outing, with Europa set to play at home against Hércules on Saturday at 16:30, according to Mundo Deportivo.

Meanwhile, the club’s early-season progress continues. Europa earned their first point of the campaign after drawing 0-0 away to Alcorcón. Head coach Josep Maria Gené was positive about the result, praising the team’s effort and competition, in comments quoted by Mundo Deportivo: “Estoy contento por el punto conseguido… por tanto, muy buenas sensaciones y agradezco el esfuerzo del equipo de principio a fin”.
