Zakaria Eddahchouri out for the Deportivo: dislocated finger

Deportivo have lost Zakaria Eddahchouri after he suffered a dislocated finger. The Dutch striker is set to go under the knife and will be out for between three and four weeks, with the first part overlapping the international break. COPE Coruña reports the issue and adds that, on his return, he’ll need a protective splint to play.

His comeback depends on how he heals: initially he is not expected to be available for the Real Sociedad match in early October. If all goes well, he could return on the 16th versus Levante or, depending on progress, face Atlético de Madrid later in October.

The setback compounds Deportivo’s current injury list, including Marc Casadó’s shoulder fracture (out at least three months) and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who has already undergone surgery and will miss roughly six weeks.
