Aberdeen sign versatile Belgian forward Ntelo

Aberdeen have signed Belgian forward Mitchy Ntelo from Swiss club Yverdon-Sport on an undisclosed fee, according to BBC Sport. The 25-year-old has penned a two-year contract with a club option for a further year.

Ntelo is a versatile forward capable of operating centrally or in wide positions. He has made nearly 150 club appearances and scored 30 goals, impressing last season on loan at Bulgarian side Botev Vratsa with six goals in six starts.

Manager Stephen Robinson praised the new signing's qualities: "We've tracked Mitchy for some time and we're delighted to bring him to Aberdeen. He is tall, exceptionally quick and equally comfortable as a central striker or in wide areas. We believe he has all the attributes to make a real impact from the flanks."

Ntelo started his career at his hometown club Standard Lieja and has previously played for Dutch side MVV Maastricht, Belgian club Charleroi and Bulgarian outfit Lokomotiv Plovdiv.
