Adrián Liso edges closer to Mallorca move
Real Zaragoza's winger is set to leave the club for Mallorca in a deal worth around 2.5 million euros.
Adrián Liso looks set to leave Real Zaragoza. According to Sport, the 21-year-old winger is getting increasingly close to joining Mallorca, who have emerged as the front-runners for his signature following a strong push for the deal. The player featured in his first preseason outing with the Aragonese side on Thursday, but all signs point to these being his final days at the club.
The operation would involve a transfer fee of around 2.5 million euros, with Zaragoza securing a significant percentage of the player's rights (between 20 and 30%) due to his contract until 2029. Mallorca is stepping up its recruitment drive after losing Virgili to Brugge for his 12-million-euro release clause and has already announced the arrival of Josep Cerdá.
Liso, who has three other offers on the table, is back on the radar of bigger clubs following his recent performances. Last season he netted three goals in 28 appearances on loan at Getafe, and his appearance alongside Virgili at the U-20 World Cup a year ago underscores his potential.
