Mallorca moves for Zaragoza's Liso after selling Virgili to Brugge for €12 million.
The official departure of Jan Virgili to Brugge for €12 million has put Real Mallorca into action. According to Mundo Deportivo, the Balearic club is pursuing Adrián Liso, a 21-year-old forward from Real Zaragoza, to fill the gap in attack before LaLiga Hypermotion kicks off.
Liso, a product of Zaragoza's academy, spent last season at Getafe in Spain's top flight, where he made 28 appearances and scored 3 goals under José Bordalás. The striker previously shared a dressing room with Virgili at the U-20 World Cup and is attracting attention from several clubs, including Sevilla, Rayo Vallecano, and Levante.
There is one obstacle to overcome: while Mallorca is willing to pay a transfer fee, Zaragoza prefers a loan deal to retain rights over the player. Liso, aware that the Balearic side are serious promotion contenders, is now considering the offer.
