Alberto Flores leaves Sevilla to join Granada

Sevilla have confirmed the departure of Alberto Flores in the coming hours, according to Mundo Deportivo. The Andalusian goalkeeper, who has served as third-choice keeper for the senior squad and as the B team's starting goalkeeper in recent seasons, has found a new home at Granada.

Flores traveled from the Netherlands to Sevilla this week to accelerate his departure and has now agreed his future under Pacheta's management at the Nuevo Los Cármenes. The Nazarí side needed to strengthen their goalkeeping ranks following Luca Zidane's departure, having signed Raúl Lizaoin from Albacete.

Sevilla are allowing the goalkeeper to leave on a free transfer despite him having one year remaining on his contract. However, the Andalusian club retain a 40% stake in any future sale and will receive a bonus if Granada achieve promotion to the top flight. Flores has made just one official appearance for Sevilla's first team.
