Alberto Flores officially joins Granada as new goalkeeper

Sevilla and Granada have officially confirmed the transfer of Alberto Flores. The 23-year-old goalkeeper, who came through the Sevillian academy, is leaving the Nervión club to become Granada's new player, as reported by Mundo Deportivo.

Flores arrives at Granada to fill the void left by Luca Zidane. The Sevilla shot-stopper, who served as third-choice keeper in recent years and even made a Copa del Rey appearance against Getafe in 2024, embarks on a new chapter away from Nervión.

The deal has interesting details. Sevilla receives no immediate financial compensation but retains the right to 40% of any future sale of Flores. The club will also receive a bonus if Granada achieves promotion to LaLiga EA Sports. The arrival of Fran González from Real Madrid and Sevilla's B team's relegation accelerated Flores's decision to leave.
