Angeliño returns to Deportivo on loan from Roma

It's official: Angeliño is back at Deportivo de la Coruña, fulfilling a dream he has cherished for years. The 29-year-old Galician left-back arrives on loan from AS Roma until June 30, 2027, with a purchase option included, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The player, whose full name is José Ángel Esmorís Tasende, came through Depor's youth academy before joining Manchester City's Academy in 2007. Since then, he has accumulated experience across several European clubs: PSV Eindhoven, RB Leipzig (where he won the DFB Pokal in 2022), Hoffenheim, Galatasaray, and most recently Roma, where he joined in January 2024 and the club secured his permanent registration.

With over a hundred Bundesliga appearances, Serie A experience, and participation in major European competitions, Angeliño arrives in A Coruña as a seasoned player who can bring his extensive background to a Deportivo side fresh from promotion to LaLiga.
