Arsenal look to hijack Liverpool's pursuit of Barcola from PSG

Gunners eye the PSG winger after missing out on Vinicius Jr, with Liverpool and PSG still far apart on fees for the France international.

Arsenal could jump into the race for Bradley Barcola after losing out on Vinicius Jr to Real Madrid, according to *The Sun*. With the Brazilian's contract extension now sealed, Mikel Arteta has three left-wing targets in his sights: the PSG star, Julián Álvarez and Iliman Ndiaye, as reported by *The Independent*.

As we reported yesterday, talks between Liverpool and PSG over Barcola remain ongoing but the clubs are far apart on valuation — the Reds are offering around £115m while PSG demand £145m. Should Arsenal enter the bidding war, negotiations would become even more complicated for all parties involved.

Elsewhere in the market, Barcelona have lodged a £38.5m bid for Rodri at Manchester City, who are refusing to entertain any offer below £60m. The City boss Pep Guardiola's side, meanwhile, are exploring a move for Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernández, per *The Independent*.
