Arsenal offers Lewis-Skelly to United as left-back option

The teenage defender has been made available to Manchester United and Chelsea, with Arsenal valuing him at around £45m.

Myles Lewis-Skelly has been offered to Manchester United as a left-back solution, according to The Guardian. Arsenal is looking to recoup funds after spending £75m on Bruno Guimarães, and values the 19-year-old at approximately £45m.

Chelsea has also been made aware of the defender's availability, though it remains unclear whether they will pursue a move. Lewis-Skelly, a Premier League champion with Arsenal last season, signed a five-year contract last summer but made only five league starts in 2025-26, accumulating 36 appearances across all competitions.

The fee fits within United's summer spending, which has already included £35m for Youri Tielemans (Aston Villa) and £48m plus add-ons for Andrey Santos (Chelsea). Newcastle is determined to keep Lewis Hall, their primary target, after losing Guimarães, Sandro Tonali to Tottenham, and Anthony Gordon to Barcelona.
