Atlético Madrid bid 35M€ for Lille's Fernández-Pardo

Atlético Madrid have tabled a €35 million offer, including bonuses, for Belgian striker Matias Fernández-Pardo of Lille, according to L'Équipe. The 21-year-old forward is now a target for the Spanish club in the winter market.

The bid has reached the desk of Lille's management, though there is no rush to settle matters just yet. LOSC president Olivier Létang was recently firm about the player's future: "He's under contract until 2029 and his departure is not on the agenda." Now, however, a concrete proposal sits before them.

Létang, a seasoned negotiator in transfer dealings, has not rejected the offer but is expected to push for a higher figure. Moreover, other clubs—particularly English sides—could enter the race for the striker in the coming days.
