Atlético face Manchester City in Seoul with Kang-in Lee's debut

Atlético Madrid take on Manchester City on Sunday at 1 p.m. (Spanish time) in Seoul for their third preseason fixture, following a win over Getafe (4-1) and a defeat to Manchester United (2-1).

The main draw will be Kang-in Lee's debut. With just two training sessions under his belt, all conducted in South Korea, the attacking midfielder will make his first appearance in front of his home crowd, though not from the start. Another focus will be on Pablo Barrios, who hasn't featured in the previous two friendlies and needs to build match fitness after playing just two of Atlético's last 29 games.

Julián Álvarez's availability is uncertain. According to Simeone from Seoul, the situation is "clear" and the club has "already made a decision". He is expected to arrive in Majadahonda on Monday alongside other World Cup finalists. The academy will again play a key role with 13 youth players in Seoul, as Mundo Deportivo reports.
