Benoît Badiashile is on the move. According to L'Équipe, the French defender (25, with 2 international caps) will undergo his medical this Wednesday with Napoli before finalising his loan switch.
The Frenchman is leaving Chelsea after three and a half years and 71 appearances. The Blues signed him from Monaco in January 2023 for 38 million euros, but he has struggled to establish himself in the Premier League.
The deal structure
The agreement includes a loan fee of 4 million euros (3 fixed plus 1 in add-ons) and a purchase option set at 27 million. Badiashile, contracted to Stamford Bridge until 2030, becomes part of Napoli's defensive reinforcements for the Serie A campaign.
