Barcelona raise bid for Rodri to £51.4m

Barcelona have upped the ante in their pursuit of Rodri and submitted an increased bid of £51.4 million to Manchester City for the Spanish midfielder, 30, according to Sport.

The club remain in continued talks with City as they push to bring the international to the Camp Nou. The Blaugrana are also exploring defensive options and have decided to let centre-back Ronald Araujo join Liverpool on loan.
