Barcelona readies fresh bid for Rodri to Man City
Barcelona will submit a new proposal to Manchester City for Rodri soon after their initial €50m opening offer was rejected.
Barcelona have a new bid ready to send to Manchester City for Rodri, according to Fabrizio Romano. The fresh proposal will be submitted shortly after the Blaugrana's opening offer, valued around €50 million, was turned down by City.
Negotiations remain active between the two clubs. Barcelona stay completely confident in the operation, particularly after Rodri informed Manchester City that he only wants to join the Catalans.
As Romano reports, the deal is "absolutely on." Both clubs continue working to bridge the financial gap needed to complete the midfielder's transfer.
