Barcelona's Swedish winger sustains his second ACL injury and will miss six to seven months of action.
Bad luck continues to haunt Roony Bardghji. Just over two years after his first anterior cruciate ligament tear on his right knee—which sidelined him for nearly a year—the Swedish winger, 19 years old, has suffered a second rupture of the same knee during a Barcelona training session, according to L'Équipe.
The young talent is expected to be out for between six and seven months. This fresh injury completely rules out any possibility of the player departing the Catalan club in the upcoming summer transfer window, despite attracting significant interest from several European sides such as Ajax Amsterdam following his first season at the club.
As we reported earlier, Bardghji had already experienced a serious injury just over two years ago. Now, this setback to the same knee represents another significant obstacle in his development as a Barcelona player.
