Bazdar's exit unblocks Real Zaragoza's transfer plan
Samed Bazdar's departure allows Real Zaragoza to accelerate their transfer moves as they hunt for a striker and centre-back.
With Samed Bazdar's exit confirmed, Real Zaragoza can push forward with their transfer strategy after assembling 90% of the squad. Sporting director Lalo Arantegui made his approach clear during the Boltaña training camp: «If one player leaves, one will arrive; if two leave, two will arrive». The goal is to maintain a lean squad with two players per position.
According to Sport, the Aragonese side still need to sign a striker and a centre-back, as requested by manager Ibai Gómez. In attack, the club is weighing up to four options, including Jesús De Miguel, though his fitness concerns and Tenerife's financial demands have pushed him down the priority list. Currently, only Edu Espiau operates as a pure number nine, with Pau Sans as an alternative.
Other pending matters remain: finding a buyer for Adrián Liso (Mallorca cooled their interest) and resolving Francho Serrano's future, whose renewal deal is still unresolved despite both sides wanting to continue together.
