Bazdar officially joins Belgian Sint-Truidense
The Bosnian striker leaves Real Zaragoza after a disappointing season in the Spanish second tier and signs a four-year deal with the Belgian club.
Real Zaragoza has officially confirmed the departure of Samed Bazdar to Belgian Sint-Truidense on Friday, as reported by Sport. The Bosnian forward, born on 31 January 2004, leaves after a disappointing spell at the Aragonese club where he failed to meet expectations.
Bazdar played 40 matches as a Zaragoza player since arriving in summer 2024, contributing 5 goals and 5 assists. The Bosnian international also spent time on loan at Polish Jagiellonia during the second half of the previous season and participated in the 2026 World Cup. He signs with the Belgian club on a four-year deal plus an optional extension.
The move ends a difficult period for a forward in whom Zaragoza invested 3 million euros. Before securing his switch to Belgium, the striker had received offers from Swiss St. Gallen (which offered 2 million in a loan-to-buy arrangement), Stockholm's AIK and Austrian Sturm Graz.
