The Portuguese midfielder signs for Real Madrid until 2028 in a private presentation at Valdebebas.
Bernardo Silva is now officially a Real Madrid player. The 32-year-old Portuguese midfielder was presented on Wednesday at the club's Valdebebas training ground in a closed-door ceremony, according to Mundo Deportivo.
Florentino Pérez welcomed the international star in the boardroom, where they watched a career highlights video prepared by the club. Silva then signed a contract binding him to the Madrid outfit until 30 June 2028 — a two-year deal.
Gifts befitting a new Galáctico
Following tradition, Silva received personalised gifts: a replica of the Santiago Bernabéu stadium, a watch and a shirt bearing his name and number 20. The ceremony was also attended by honorary president José Martínez Pirri. Unlike Mourinho's unveiling the previous day, the new signing had his family present — his wife and daughter witnessed the moment.
